Nami Imai is currently a Professor in the School of Nursing Faculty of Medicine, Mie University in Japan. She was a registered nurse experienced in surgical unit and emergency unit at Mie University Hospital in Japan. She received her doctorate from Osaka University, Japan in 2005. Her teaching experience is in the areas of human anatomy and structure, basic nursing concepts, nursing theory and nursing process, science and art in nursing and Environmental Health Nursing (EHN). She is an active researcher in a field of human actions related the environment, and she talked about her researches at IPP-SHR interview at 2008 (listen to the web-site; Oncology Social Work Australia(OSWA) #52
Dr. Imai is managing to the Nursing Counseling Room (NCR) in the city of Tsu, Mie, Japan from 2006. Her research interest are pattern of behavior of sick building syndrome (SBS) and multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS) patients, expansion of nursing with SBS and MCS, establish EHN. She became a mother of a baby boy at October 2009, and she became increasingly active for the future and health of human beings and also for her son.
She is inviting some earnest nurses who have interested in EHN as a graduate student. Because she seeks a lot of colleague of nursing researcher and she looks for many supporters of NCR for MCS patients.
